Campground News

Closed for 2020 – We are very sorry to inform you that Rockwood Park Campground is closed for the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Saint John Horticultural Association made this hard decision based on cost projections that showed the campground could not break even due to low advance bookings, restrictions on camping, extra staff and PPE required, closed borders, and the fact that 83% of the campers in 2019 came from outside New Brunswick.

New Cabins – In January 2021, you can book one of our two new cabins with spectacular views of the City of Saint John and the Bay of Fundy. The cabins have beds, table and chairs and are unserviced. Enjoy this special get-away experience in the Rockwood Park Campground!

Check the Latest News on the Rockwood Park website for information about upcoming events and activities throughout the Park.

Plans for 2021

  • Plant more trees in main RV area
  • Upgrade central washroom
  • Add WiFi to Campground
  • Complete 2 rustic cabins
